Returning to the Beach

Monday, May 5th, 2008

So after two weeks of all work and no play, I finally got a weekend to myself. I was feeling a bit lazy on Saturday — drained really. I walked around the house in my pajamas for a while debating wether to go for my walk. Then I figured it was only 10 a.m., my bills and laundry could wait until later in the day. I decided to head to the beach. It was a nice day. The sun was out, there was a nice breeze, not too hot and not too cool. It was a very simple, relaxing 1 hour walk. Except for the two phone calls I got on my cell. Talk about knocking someone one out of the Zen zone. Then again, why did I have my cell with me? Anyway, I continued relaxing away watching people with their kids, dogs and friends passing by. It was a nice, peaceful walk.
